If you want to have your own photo added to Am I Period or Not send an email to the administrators with the following information

1. Which album you want your photo to go in (choose from; Ancient and Classical, Dark Ages and Byzantine, 10th to 13th century, 14th &15th century, 16th & 17th century, 18th & 19th century or 20th century and other).
2. The name you want to give to your photo (e.g. velvet bustle gown 1883).
3. A brief (less than 1000 characters) description of the item. A good description will include things like the sources you used, what it's made of, your goals in making the garment, an explanation of mitigating circumstances for the garment itself or the photo (budget, heat, difficulty finding materials, inexperience, it's early in the morning and I haven't done my hair etc.), and any other information you think is relevant. You may also want to give people an email address to contact you or a link to your website.
4. Don't forget to attach the photo, make sure it's in .jpg format and less than 1 MB in size. We will also attach your email address to your photo so we know who it belongs to, but your email will be hidden unless you ask us to include it in the name or description.

Before you send in a photo remember our policy on obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate images. If your image is not suitable for all ages please don't send it in, we will not upload it.
We will not tolerate image thieves, do not submit a photo of somebody else's work unless they have specifically requested you to do so. We keep a record of your email address and anybody found to have submitted an image without the owner's permission will be banned from submitting any more photos.

Now you've worked out what you want to say, send your pictures to amiperiodornot(at)yahoo.com.au (if the link doesn't work for you copy and paste the address into your email program but replace (at) with @). But don't expect an instant response the administrators are giving up their own free time to keep this site working. We don't get paid for this so please be patient. Also we won't send you a reply via email unless there is a problem (e.g. we think you have chosen the wrong category)
