ETHNIC ALBANIAN TERRORISTS ATTACK SERB HOUSE IN KOSOVO AND METOHIJA

VITINA - Ethnic Albanian terrorists late on Wednesday opened fire with a rocket launcher on a Serb house in Vitina, in the southeast of the Yugoslav republic of Serbia's Kosovo and Metohija province.

The rocket tore through a wall shattering the house's second floor that had not been completed. The detonation also damaged the roof on a nearby house, local radio enthusiasts quoted the church-national board in Vitina as saying.

The radio enthusiasts reported that troops participating in the U.N. peacekeeping force KFOR had rushed to the scene but had found no one.

SERB WOUNDED IN U.N.-SECURED KOSOVO-METOHIJA'S VITINA TOWN

VITINA - A Serb was wounded while working with three fellow Serbs in a field outside the town of Kosovska Vitina in Serbia's U.N.-administered Kosovo-Metohija on Wednesday, the local Serbian National Church Council said.

After receiving first aid at an infirmary of the international KFor force, the Serb, Dragan Tajic, was rushed to hospital in Vranje, southeast Serbia (Yugoslavia).

According to the Council's statement, carried by amateur radio operators, the four Serbs were sprayed by a volley of gun-fire from the direction of the village of Mogila, and Tajic was shot in the shoulder.

The National Church Council said that in surrounding fields a few hundred metres away, ethnic Albanians had watched the attack without fear, which pointed to the conclusion that they had known in advance what would happen.
