History of Man
Adam ate the apple-
No great surprise there- after all;
Every man’s a sucker for a pretty face,
Or is that another inherited trait?

He took the apple core with him,
Tossed it out into a field- a seedling grew.
Ten days later a dark storm brewed;
Lightning erupted and Man discovered fire.

Centuries later the sapling flourished
And as the first petals fell,
Floating free from the first petals
So too did man unleash war.

Millennia later God sent a flood,
With Noah and Co. the only survivors-
The dove brought the olive branch
From alongside where grew an apple tree.
A century of millennia later- today,
Man tries his hand at pruning;
And thus a genetically modified apple tree grows,
Bearing monstrous offshoots and the fruits of nightmares.

Healing Prayer
Let your chest be washed of sickness,
For the breath of life is drawn from within.

Let your shoulders be washed of sickness,
For the burden of living is placed upon them.

Let your arms be washed of sickness,
For deeds of goodness stem from them.

Let your legs be washed of sickness,
For they support your movements in the world.

Let your spine be washed of sickness,
For it determines the nature of your character.

Let your face be washed of sickness,
For it is the window to your soul.
