This new Mario game looks very promising, from what I gathered at the E3 demo of this game, that it will mainly use the top screen and not the bottom/touch screen. Mario has lots of moves from his previous games such as shooting fireballs, and his famous back flip jump.

The new aspect about this game is it will be a 2D environment with 3D objects. So Mario, Enemies and Bowser will be in 3D. But the biggest thing about Mario brothers DS is Mushrooms! When Mario gets a mushroom he will grow to the size of the screen and absolutely destroy every thing in his path, he can even destroy Bowser with just a simple jump when he is this size.

But Mushrooms can also be a bad thing, if enemies get to the mushroom before Mario, Watch out! The Goomba will grow gigantic instead of Mario! So you better be careful. More About this Game When it comes out.
