Mikes Embleton Skate Review

Skatepark Review site

Millennium party was over and out but now they needed a solution. The question on the lips of the hosts was what are we gonna do with this mess?

Bury it in a quiet dark place nobody has had heard of. Embletons lack of notoriety was my winfall.

In secret they drained the stain of a century of pain and creted it over....call it a skate park.

Well I ought to know...I was there. Embleton skatepark was opened in July 2002 with a display of banners, loud music, DJs and skate/bike/blade demos.

Since its been a bit quiet...Boomshanka was the follow up extreme event with climbing facilities and comps for the day. I watched for a bit from a far but my Pizza was getting cold so I had to keep my shanks moving along.

Embleton/Bayswater Skate Park is right up with its sister park at Leederville Skate HQ. Both have a vert-ramp and carvable concrete half bowls and crete jumps and banks.

Embletons soccer/skate parks isolation means danger is no stranger and pain may reign again.
