Recommended reading about Australian participation in the Korean War.

The australian authors, in particular Jack Gallaway and Ben O'Dowd, give a unique perspective of the Korean War which is both interesting and easy to understand while being completely factual.

• Recommended: a concise history of the Korean War for those who don't need detailed platoon level information. The whole reference covers the complete history of Australian armed forces and as such is a must to anyone interested in Australian Military history. Very easy to read and understand.

• Essential reading : Diggers in battle- Korea 1950-51, mainly dealing with A Company but a great resource on the 3RAR. Good reading. All about the people, the personal touch is what makes it so good.

• Have not read this yet but it certainly looks valuable. Presents the perspective of the other UN forces besides the USA. Worth it for the photos I thought.
