BIOGRAPHY :

Tim is a freelance filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and a drive to touch audiences with his films. His body of work includes a seventy-seven page hand-drawn comic book that he wrote and drew in 1996; a 170,000 word, 400 page novel which he is in the process of redrafting; eight completed tracks of music (varying lengths) which he is currently mixing and mastering for release to a record label, and three films in the space of twelve months. He has also completed a full-length treatment for a feature film which received H1 (High Distinction) Honours from the University of Melbourne Screenwriting staff. Tim has been writing stories for as long as he has been able to hold a pen, and has always displayed a strong sense of the visual and the aesthetic requirements for telling those stories. In 1998 he was invited to attend the Sydney College of the Arts for a five day Art Camp where he was trained classically by the staff at the college in the process of life drawing. Live models were exhibited for him and the other students to draw from. In addition to his achievement in the practical side of the arts, Tim also received a mark that fell between the 90-100% band range in the HSC for Art Theory.  Recently he has started a Production Company with his co-collaborator, Kirthi Sena, called Director’s Chair Productions. The Production Company focuses its output into creating DVDs for actors (showreels), Corporate Presentations and School Videos.
