Bacon Spaghetti


Bacon Spaghetti

6-7 slices Bacon, diced
1 large to medium Onion, diced
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 can (reg or large) Whole Tomatoes
1 small can Mushrooms (optional)
dash Oregano
grated Parmesan Cheese

Cook the bacon in a medium to large pan.  Scoop out the bacon.  Fry the onion and garlic 
in the bacon fat.  Add the tomatoes and return bacon to pan.  Add the mushrooms and 
oregano.  Cook for 1/2 an hour.
Serve on spaghetti with the Parmesan cheese on the table to be added by the diners as 
desired.

NB: This is probably a healthier recipe if you drain the bacon fat off after frying the 
onions and garlic in it, but it is so much more delicious if you don't!!
