Girls Football Season opens March 27th

2009 Girls Only Football Competition :- The Friday night football girls only 6 a side competition will continue this year. Please ask your club for more information or call the office on 40321005

Welcome all previous and new players to the 4th year of the CDSA Girls Only Competition. We are looking forward to an even better year than last.

CDSA will be running a 6 A Side Competition for Girls only with an U13 & U15 age grouping.

If you have not already registered with a club, go to the club contacts list & get yourself registered for a great season of girls soccer or call the office on 40321005.

Games will start from 5.30pm onwards (depending on draw).

2009 Girls State Football Team Selections

19th February 2009

Following discussions at the State Women’s Standing Committee Meeting on Saturday, we wish to confirm the following selection process for the two age groups attending the 2009 National Titles which will be held at Coffs Harbour from 11 to 18 July.

Under 15 Girls (State Team)

• Training squad of 24 players picked from participation in RSJPL 2009 (Under 14 and Under 16) by State coaches in consultation with RDO recommendations.
• Final selection Training camp held (May 2/3/4)
• Final squad training in Brisbane on 6/7/8 July prior to departure for Nationals

Under 17 Girls (State Team)
• Training squad of 30 players picked from participation in RSJPL 2009 (Under 16) by State coaches plus recommendations from RDO for 17 year old girls (1992) plus QAS nominations.
• Final selection Training camp held (May 2/3/4)
• Final squad training in Brisbane on 6/7/8 July prior to departure for Nationals

Nominations of player’s born in 1992 (17 years of age) are due no later than Monday, 20th April.

Football Queensland will contact RDO’s to discuss this process. We can also confirm the appointment of the State coaches for the teams. Under 15 - Pam Grant, Catherine Roncato Under 17 - Raeanne Dower, Melissa Andreatta
