Hello all. I was born on march 4th, 1981 at Maitland Hospital, Mum caught a glimpse of me and so named me Nathan. I was raised in Cessnock until 1989, by my Mum (Janette), we moved to sunny Port Macquarie in 1990. I attended Hastings Public School from this time until 1992 (years 4 through 6) where I participated in many School activities, the highlight of which was getting my first role in the School play - "The Thousand-and-Second Night" (a parody of the old Arabian tale, The thousand and first night).
1993 saw my first year at Port Macquarie High School, which was to become a place of fun, laughter, happiness, sadness and joy for 6 years.

• During this time I was a part of the School's Band Program, with the pinnacle of my music years there (playing Trumpet), the opportunity to be Lead Trumpet in the Big Band (Jazz).
• For 5 years I was part of the Port High Gymnastics Team which, for the five years I was in the Squad (1993-1998) returned each year with the "State Secondary School's Gymnastic Display Team Championship" Trophy; I was also fortunate to win a Gold medal in 1993 as Team 3 for our High School in the Circuit Competition.
• In 1994, 1995 and 1996 (years 8, 9 and 10), I was cast into various lead and supporting roles in the School's Musical and non-Musical productions. Respectively, these were, "Grease" (as Eugene Florczyk), "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream" (Peter Quince) and "The Outsider's" (affectionately known as 'Randy').

• Most of my years at Port Macquarie High School saw me volunteer for many of the School's extracurricular activities: New Student's Orientation, Peer Support Leader, Peer Tutor and Peer Mediator.

With the end of year 12 looming to a halt and the release of the HSC results, came the decision of which University to go to. [I had already decided that I wanted to study Marine Biology, being interested mainly in the field of Dolphin-Assisted Therapy.] It was a choice between University of Newcastle (~300km and 3 hours South) or James Cook University (~2000km and 32 hours North). Wanting to get the best education in my chosen field, along with the idea of Adventure, I chose James Cook University, Townsville, North Queensland.

Well, here I am. Although, now I am studying Psychology - my sources were unreliable. C'est la vie!!!!

Oh, POSTSCRIPT: - I have chosen to defer what would have been my third, and last, year of my Bachelor of Psychology degree due to financial restraints. Thus this semester, I am taking SOC10027 - Sociology of Cyberspace, so as to keeep my brain active for the year.
