"Intentional Misuse by Concentrating or Inhaling"

This piece was completed as part of my assessment in art class. I like to call this piece Intentional Misuse by Concentrating or Inhaling, but needless to say, that wasn't what I told the teacher I was calling it. Whatever it was I let her believe the title was, I can't remember it now. I think this one is more appropriate anyway.

"Breakfast"

I had this picture in my head that night... and this is what turned out on paper. I call it Breakfast, but my friend finds it ironic, and refers to it as "what you would get back from Kodak if you asked a man to take the picture."

That wasn't exaclty the impression I was hoping for, but i suppose it will have to do, at least until I can find someone else to handle the camera.

I also did this in art class, although it wasn't for assessment. This one was just an OHP that the teacher put up and told us to copy, as figure-drawing practice. I didn't make up any smart-ass titles for this one, either.

Mine is actually the only copy in which the girl is wearing a hat--that was just because I forgot my glasses that day. But I say it adds a touch of originality, so despite the fact that Monique sat laughing at my mistake the whole lesson, that makes it alright.

I found this picture somewhere in the back of some ditzy teenage magazine and thought the shadow effect in it looked really good.

If my memory serves me well today (as it never does), it was a picture of her as her role in Hamlet.
