Alexandrian Imperial

This Alexandrian Imperial army (328 BCE - 324 BCE), with an Indian Ally Contingent, was painted up over two weeks in December 2003. It is a quicker paintjob than is usual for me, as I wanted to get it done fast. It is mainly Frei Korp figures, together with some Essex. It replaces my previous hellenistic army which I sold earlier in the year.

First up is a photo showing the entire force. I designed it as a predominantly mounted force, with maximum mounted elements, and almost minimum foot.
