Seleucid

The Seleucid Empire (320 BCE - 83 BCE) was founded by Alexanders General Seleukos, and continued until its abolition by the Romans. At its height it covered much of the present day Middle East, and Asia Minor.

This is the Seleucid army of my friend Dave.It is a good historical match-up for my classical armies. The figures are mostly Frei Korp. Dave commissoned me to paint some of the light infantry and knights, but most of the painting is his own work. The tents he scratchbuilt from modelling clay and card.
