Vijayanagar Indian

This collection of Indians has grown and evolved over the years, and is able to morph into several different Indian armies. It started out being used as Mauryan Indian (321 BCE - 180 BCE). However, I kept adding figures to make it passable for other Indian lists. The one I have used most often in competitions is Vijayanagar (1406 CE - 1510 CE). The strength of the Vijayanagar list is in its good quality cavalry, elephants, and sheer numbers of troops. I also have enough figures painted to use lists such as Chola (980 CE - 1279 CE), as well as the earlier Classical list.

The figures are mostly Essex, with a few Frei Korp shields and baggage. Spears have been replaced with music wire for strength. Flags are just paper coated with wood glue.
