40k Tyranids

A photo of the whole swarm.

Hive Tyrant and Tyrant Guard, the one on the right has had a piece from an Epic bio-titan added as a Venom Cannon Mutant.

Tyranid Warriors with Boneswords.

Tyranid Warriors with Venom Cannons, each Cannon is made from two of the old deathspitters.

Carnifexes with Venom Cannons.

Biovores and Spore Mines.

Lictors.

Hormagaunts.

Hive Node Mutants for the Hormagaunts, each is based on a stealer, with vestigial claws for second arms, and cut down bone swords. The look I was after is a mini warrior.

Stealers with vestigial claws for second arms. I tend to use these as 'baby stealers' - that's Rending Claw mutants in the Hormagaunt Broods.

Genestealers. My actual genestealers are the original metal models from the late eighties. I've replaced the hands on their second pair of arms with claws.

Termagaunts converted into Gargoyles. Wings from transparent plastic, stuck into an adrenal gland on their backs. The rear limbs are also extensively converted to be vestigial.

Rending Claw mutants for the Gargoyle broods.

Red Terror, a pressie from the Girlfiend.

Miniatures from Kryomek, can't remember what they are actually called, but I use them as gaunts sometimes.

A Starcraft Zerg Hydralisk, a friend bought it for me in Australia. I've used it as an exceptional sized tyrant.
