Fletcher's Track

Fletchers used to lead their cattle and horses down this track to Diggers Flat and Belmore Flat. It is starting to get over grown and needs some upkeep desperately or we are at risk of losing this track. The path dissapears at a few spots but if you follow the line marked below you will be able to find it without trouble. The line ends where it does, not because the track ends there, but because it was a stinking hot day when I mapped this and I didn't feel up to the final few hill climbs.

Some bloke used to take people camping up here using donkeys to carry all the gear. The first "Donkey man's" camp was below Fletcher's Spur and a second one was further up the creek - I'm not sure of the exact location.

The grey parts of the maps are segments of the NSW Lands Dept. map for Yalwal. The map reference explains the exact location of the map fragment - "8928-2S YALWAL" is the name of the Lands Dept. map used and the other number is the grid reference, as explained on all Lands Dept. maps.
