What is Internet Search Engine
Search engines are websites at which a person may enter search terms and receive a list of websites on which those terms are found.
As we know there are billions of billions of web pages on the internet and the numbers are still increasing....
The best and only way to find out information from useless data(pages) is to use a search engine.
This can be a fast, convenient way of finding sites and information that may interest you or provide answers to your questions when you are not sure where to begin.
Some search engines employ editors who review and categorize web sites that have been submitted for inclusion. Editors will generally only list one page from a complete website.
Non-human search engines are updated using a tool commonly referred to as a ‘spider’ or ‘robot.’ Spiders scour hundreds of thousands of pages a day. Many of them will also follow the links on a page to find information independently. Thus, it is possible for a website to be indexed by a spider even if the website was not submitted to the search engine.
