Computer graphics worked example Year 2

Activity 1

With Year 6 or 7 buddies or parents, complete basic PowerPoint presentation. Students choose different insect. Students do 1 slide in the form of a template with 3 questions which children brainstorm and all must use same 3. For example- What do they eat?, Where do they live? and What do they look like? Students need 3 pictures, text, different fonts, and a background. Use preselected site suitable for age level. Slides are printed and displayed in classroom. Students use PowerPoint slide to give brief oral report. Copy source of information on site-copyright.

Skills- Insert pictures, background, select information from preselected websites, develop questions, select information, organise and present information, basic copyright skills. See example
